Wood Pigeon with sound. The Wood Pigeon or Kereru are large birds, measuring up to 51cm and weighing up to 650gms. Widespread throughout New Zealand they inhabit a wide variety of forest types and can also be found in urban parks and suburban gardens. Measures approximately 17cm.
